In-House Inspection Process at Wilk Glass Bottle Factory
2024-09-14
At Wilk Glass Bottle Factory, we follow a meticulous and comprehensive in-house inspection process to ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout production.
1. Mould Inspection
Wilk Group produces moulds according to customer-provided drawings and sample bottles. For critical mould dimensions that affect product shaping, we engage in detailed communication with customers, reaching agreements on any necessary modifications. All factory moulds, including the mouth, primary, and matching moulds, are inspected based on drawings or customer specifications.
2. First Article Inspection
Before bottles enter the annealing line, the first 10-30 products are produced, with 2-3 bottles from each mould undergoing a size and appearance inspection. Key checks include bottle body dimensions, inner and outer bottle mouth diameters, logo clarity on the bottom, and proper bottle body patterning.
Once the bottles emerge from the annealing line, the quality control team leader inspects 2-3 bottles from each mould according to the drawings. This inspection includes measuring capacity, material weight, and mouth diameters. If needed, the bottle is filled with water to check for proper lid fitting and leakage. Internal pressure, stress, and acid-alkali resistance tests are also conducted.
3. Ongoing Production Sampling
Without changing the moulds, every 2 hours, 2 bottles from each mould are tested for capacity, material weight, and mouth diameters to prevent issues such as leakage caused by contamination.
If a mould change occurs during production, the quality inspection team is immediately notified. They inspect the first bottles made with the new mould to prevent quality issues from going unnoticed.
